About
We advise established New Zealand enterprises through the operating work that follows a merger or separation — not the deal theatre that precedes it.
Why we exist
Most transaction teams dissolve after signing. What remains is a payroll that still runs on two calendars, branch managers who answer to different instincts, and a board that wants synergy numbers before the customer letter has even been agreed. Enterprise Evolve was formed in Christchurch to stay in that room — the months when integration either becomes a habit or a source of quiet attrition.
Origin
The practice grew out of advisory work with South Island manufacturers, professional service groups, and multi-site retailers that had completed Australasian acquisitions and discovered that “one culture” speeches do not schedule a warehouse. We kept being asked back for the unglamorous parts: who owns the customer complaint after day one, how roster differences get resolved, which brand appears on the invoice.
How we work
We prefer fewer concurrent clients and deeper presence. An engagement usually includes on-site workshops, a standing Integration Management Office cadence, and direct challenge of synergy claims before they reach the board. We write in plain language. We decline work that asks us to decorate a thesis we believe is unsafe.
Values that show up in the work
- Operating honesty — numbers and narratives must match what a site manager would recognise.
- People continuity — retention of key supervisors and customer-facing staff is treated as a workstream, not a hope.
- Local accountability — decisions that belong in a region stay in a region unless risk demands otherwise.
- Board clarity — progress packs should be readable in fifteen minutes, not three hundred slides.

New Zealand context
We work nationwide from Level 8, 151 Victoria Street, Christchurch 8013. Travel to Auckland, Wellington, and regional sites is routine. We understand the density of mid-market NZ deals — fewer layers, tighter personal networks, and reputations that travel faster than press releases.
